Peel9 Modules

The Peel9 Records Management System has a complete set of modules to address an agency’s needs. The following list gives an overview of some of the modules that Peel9 offers:

Offense/Incident

Typically one of the more important  modules, this allows a responder to enter the information necessary to document a criminal or non-criminal incident on an MDC, tablet or smart phone. The system prompts the user to enter the information required for a validated NIBRS report.

Master Vehicle

This operates very much like the Master Name module, automatically linking a vehicle to both the various activities in which it has been involved and to the people who have operated or used it. Specific vehicles and their related information can be viewed by searching this index using a variety of different criteria.

Traffic Crash

Captures the information required to describe a traffic crash and produce a diagram of all the entities involved. This module makes it easier to report accidents to the state and includes full search functionality to produce agency specific reports.

Case Management

A supervisor or system user can use this to configure and manage the assignment and workflow of investigations within an agency. With this module  a user can easily look at case status, workload, pending events, and clearance rates.

Master Name

This is an index of the different names and variations of that name that exist in all the other Peel9 modules. Not only does this module link names to activities, creating a master name record, but it allows full search capabilities (height, weight, hair, eyes, tattoos, etc.) when looking for a particular name.

Citation

The information on your citation – people, vehicles, and charges are added to the system, can be searched, and then used to generate reports. With optional in-car printers, officers are able to print citations and avoid the problems caused by poor handwriting, unreadable dates, and other illegible information.

Call Management

While not intended to take the place of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system, this module allows an agency to track the responders, times, and comments for an incident. Peel9’s interface to an existing CAD system puts that system’s dispatch information into this module.

Evidence and Property

Information about the evidence associated with a case can be entered into the system, along with the times it was collected and the location in which it is stored. This module allows you to document the chain of custody for evidence that is in your possession.
